On Wednesday, January 27th, LA Gear and Sportie LA participated in a fundraiser to aid the victims of the tragic earthquake in Haiti. The event was organized and hosted by our friends at New Hat – this is an amazing group with a heart as big as their amazing – and sprawling – digital color correction studio in Santa Monica.

Included among the designer jewelry, clothing, art, gift certificates, and other awesome items for purchase in a silent auction were some of the new LA Gear light up shoes. We’re not sure what the final tally was, but the joint was packed and fueled by good will and a commitment to social responsibility.

Yet another reason to be proud of our community – way to go, LA!
